In the weeks before the 2024 U.S. presidential election, the BBC's flagship investigative program Panorama aired a documentary titled Trump: A Second Chance?
In it, viewers saw what appeared to be a single, damning sequence from Donald Trump's January 6, 2021 speech:
"We are going to walk down to the Capitol... we fight like hell."
The implication was clear and devastating: Trump was directly inciting violence, telling supporters to march and fight in one continuous breath.

- The two phrases were spoken 54 minutes apart.
- Between them, Trump explicitly called for supporters to "peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard" and to "cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women."
